Due to recent events in the American south, Boye Creative Group will no longer be flying the Confederate Battle Flag outside our Amherst, New York headquarters. In addition, Boye Creative Group staff will no longer be permitted to watch reruns of North and South, The Outlaw Jose Wales, and The Dukes of Hazzard (since it would be nearly impossible for us not to catch a glimpse of the Stars & Bars). In addition, we will discontinue listening to the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Hank Williams Jr., and The Charlie Daniels Band (as they all use the dreaded flag in their imagery). And, just to be on the safe side, we will no longer attend Civil War reenactments where we might encounter the newly-banned and highly-controversial Confederate flag.
We hope our decision to do away with the Confederate Battle Flag meets with your approval. As Canadian rocker, Neil Young put it: “Keep on rockin’ in the free world.”
And Remember: Sticks and Stones May Break Your Bones, But Flags Can Never Hurt You.
Be Good to Yourself and Others:)
