Happy Memorial Day! It’s an official kick off to spring, a weekend for half marathons, cookouts with friends, landscaping, traveling to see family, vacations, and more, but most importantly, Memorial Day is the day to remember those men and women who died in active military service. As we go through our fun weekend, we need to think of them and be grateful for their service to our country. They paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Traditionally it was observed on May 30th, but now it’s officially observed on the last Monday in May.
