Happy Christmas in July! It seems like a crazy notion to think of Christmas during the hot summertime, but a lot of people do.
The first time this concept was thought of was in 1892 when a French opera was created and a group of children rehearsed a Christmas song in July, to which a character responds: “When you sing Christmas in July, you rush the season.”
Since this idea was created, Christmas in July has been celebrated by many throughout the years. In 1944, the American advertising and greeting card industries threw a Christmas in July Luncheon for Military troops to promote an early Christmas mailing campaign for servicemen overseas during World War II. It was such a success, they held it again in 1945.
It’s fun to celebrate life, to be happy, and show gratitude for people and things. At Boye Creative Group, we are so grateful and thankful for our family, friends, clients, projects, health, etc. We like to celebrate the good things in life and help others and we hope that you will too.
